Kaspafy

Back it, or get it back.

Back the people moving Kaspa forward. If a project reaches its goal by the deadline, it gets the money. If it doesn't, every coin goes back to the wallet it came from.

How it works

  1. Someone sets a goal and a deadline

Every campaign is reviewed first, and its creator has a public profile with the places they're active.

  2. Backers pledge KAS from their own wallet

Each pledge is locked in its own Kaspa covenant, a small contract on chain that can only refund to the wallet that paid. Browser wallets and Kasla pay it directly. Mobile wallets and QR codes pass through a one-time address this site holds for a few seconds before the coin is locked.

  3. The deadline decides

Goal met: one transaction pays the project. Goal missed: every coin can only return to the wallet that sent it.

Why you can trust it

The money isn't ours to hold. Pledges sit in covenants whose rules allow two outcomes: the project, once the goal is met, or back to you.

Refunds don't need us. Every backer can download a record of their pledge. If this site ever went away, that record is enough to get the coins back after the deadline.

Creators show who they are. A profile, a website, the accounts they post from. We review each campaign before it opens.

Questions

What happens if a campaign misses its goal?

After the deadline, each pledge is sent back to the wallet that made it, minus the network fee (well under 0.01 KAS). You don't have to do anything.

Can I take my pledge back before the deadline?

No. A pledge that could vanish at any moment would make every progress bar meaningless. If a campaign turns out to be a problem, we can return every pledge before the deadline; the covenant still only lets the coins go back to their backers.

What if this site disappears?

Your pledge record has the covenant's script and the refund rules. After the deadline, anyone can send the refund transaction, and the only place it can pay is your wallet.

Which wallets work?

Kasware, Kastle, Kaspire and Kasla connect with one click. Any other wallet can pay your pledge address directly.

What does it cost to back a project?

Nothing beyond the network fee. The platform's fee comes out of funded campaigns only.

What can be funded here?

Projects that move Kaspa forward: apps, tools and integrations, videos, podcasts and other content, education, events and meetups, merchant adoption, art, hardware, and the people who bring others in. A named person or team, and a clear plan for the money. Not personal hardship (medical bills, losses, emergencies), token presales, or anything that promises backers a return.
